On Friday, US President Donald Trump unveiled his new presidential plan, which he received as a controversial gift from Qatar.
– This is considered the world’s most luxurious aircraft, the president told reporters in a hangar.
The new plane is meant to replace one of the Boeing 747 planes used by US presidents for decades.
Qatar’s gift – in the form of the aircraft – has raised ethical, constitutional and security concerns. Trump has previously said that it would be “stupid” to reject the gift, which was valued at several billion kroner, and has repeatedly praised Qatar’s emir for the decision to donate the aircraft.
Trump describes the plane as “a flying White House” with a “level of luxury that no one has ever seen before.”
