The American actor Daveigh Chase is dead.
She was known, among other things, for her lead roles in “The Ring” and “Lilo and Stitch”.
The actor died on Tuesday as a result of meningitis and blood poisoning, her boyfriend tells TMZ.
Chase among other things did the voice for Lilo in the Disney film and later the TV series “Lilo and Stitch” and for the main character Chihiro Ogino in “Spirited Away”.
She also played the role of the black-haired girl Samara Morgan in the horror film “The Ring” from 2002. For her performance, she was awarded an MTV Movie Award.
In addition to that, she has been in a number of other productions, such as “Donnie Darko”, “Beethoven’s 5th” and “American romance”.
Daveigh Chase turned 35.
