The video showed Ronaldo and the rest of the players being subjected to the usual inspection procedures, including passing through security screening devices and searching personal bags, in a scene that caught the attention of widespread followers.

The footage also recorded a seemingly dissatisfied reaction from Portuguese fullback Joao Cancelo during the inspection, as he showed some signs and expressions that were interpreted as reflecting his discomfort with the security procedures.

The clips quickly spread across digital platforms, where many activists and sports accounts shared them, considering that the scene reflects the strict security measures followed in the United States during the tournament.

Commenting on the video, one of the followers wrote: “Even Ronaldo is subject to security checks,” while another pointed out that “CR7 did not escape the physical inspection procedures either.”

On the other hand, some bloggers felt that the measures seemed exaggerated, questioning the feasibility of subjecting players to this type of inspection, despite the nature of the delegations participating in the global event.

Users later shared other clips that showed the arrival of the Portuguese national team delegation to its residence in Houston, where the team continues its preparations to play its first matches in the tournament.

On Tuesday, the Portuguese national team conducted its final training session in Palm Beach, Florida, before heading to Texas to fight the upcoming confrontation.

Portugal’s national team will begin its 2026 World Cup campaign against the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as part of Group Eleven, which also includes Colombia and Uzbekistan.
