New attacks in Lebanon

Despite the current ceasefire, there were reports of new attacks in Lebanon on Tuesday.

At least four people are said to have been killed in drone attacks against the southern parts of Lebanon, TT reports with reference to the Lebanese state news agency NNA.

Israel’s military says it attacked “a suspicious vehicle” in southern Lebanon. They also claim to have intercepted and shot down projectiles fired by Hezbollah.

After the attacks, Iran warns Israel to continue attacking Lebanon, citing the US-Iran agreement.

“Every violation will be met with a decisive and crushing response,” writes the head of the National Security Commission of Iran, Ebrahim Azizi, in a post on X.

The US-Iran agreement has been digitally signed, but the official signing ceremony will be held in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, the Swiss Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday. The site is said to have been proposed by mediators from Pakistan and Qatar along with the United States and Iran.
