The confrontation that brought together the Qatari team with its Swiss counterpart in the American city of San Francisco recorded exceptional scenes that embody Arab cohesion, as the Yemeni community in the United States rallied to provide support and assistance to the Annabi team in its journey in the World Cup.
A number of members of the Yemeni community gathered in front of the headquarters of the Qatari team delegation, carrying the flags of the State of Qatar and the slogans of Annabi.

In this context, Rajeh Badi, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the State of Qatar, stressed that this beautiful scene reflects the depth of love, affection, and deep-rooted ties of brotherhood that unite the two brotherly peoples, and embodies the position of the State of Qatar in the conscience of Yemenis, while sending wishes to Al-Annabi to provide levels worthy of the ambitions of its fans.
The account of the Yemeni embassy in Doha also published snapshots reflecting this presence, and commented that the scene embodies the amount of love and affection between the two peoples.
The Qatari fans interacted widely with this initiative, and Qatari blogger Abdul Rahman bin Saud wrote that the Yemeni community in San Francisco registered its presence with magnanimity since the arrival of the first batch of Qatari fans, and they were at the forefront of igniting the atmosphere of encouragement.
He pointed to the contribution of other Arab masses from Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Morocco and Algeria.
In turn, the Qatari influencer, Abdullah Al-Ghafri, extended all thanks and appreciation to the Yemeni community, and said that they appeared in a brotherly manner, and extended his thanks to the rest of the Arab masses and students.
