The American artist Oliver Tree is dead, reports CNN Brasil.
He died in a helicopter crash in Brazil on Sunday morning.
Another five people died in the accident.
Olive Tree has over 11 million listeners a month on Spotify and is behind viral Tiktok hits such as “Life goes on” and “Miss you”. On Sunday morning, local time, he died in a helicopter crash outside Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Five people traveled in one helicopter and one person in the other.
According to CNN Brasil, at least 20 vehicles were set on fire when the helicopters crashed into a parking lot.
Even the Argentinian one the youtuber Gaspar Primwho has nearly 7.5 million followers in social media, died in the collision, CNN writes. The police have launched an investigation into the accident.
Several concerts in Europe
Oliver Tree came from California in the USA. He was in Brazil after playing a gig in São Paulo on June 6. The American artist had several concerts planned in Europe this summer, including in Lisbon, Rome and Prague.
Oliver Tree turned 32.
