Prosecutors have decided to drop a preliminary investigation after a suspected crime against SD leader Jimmie Åkesson, reports Sweden’s Radio Ekot.
In March, Säpo drew up a report with Jimmie Åkesson as plaintiff. According to information to Aftonbladet, someone had tried to break into Åkesson’s garage in Sölvesborg, and was confronted by him himself.
Prosecutors classify the closed preliminary investigation as attempted theft, and the reason for the case being closed is, according to Ekot, that no perpetrator was found.
