The White House posted a video about migration accompanied by Ariana Grande’s song “Bye” on Tiktok.
Now the world star is falling.
“Never use my music in connection with this barbaric, inhumane, disgusting nonsense,” she writes in a comment.
The video was posted on the White House’s Tiktok account on Tuesday, June 9. It showed several different situations where ICE (United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement) arrests people.
“Bye bye, President Trump has delivered the most secure border in history,” the text read.
It was not appreciated by Ariana Grande.
In a comment to the clip that was published yesterday, she rages against the White House using her song.
“Never use my music in connection with this barbaric, inhumane, disgusting nonsense,” she writes, reports People.
The song has since been deleted from the video.
The world star is not the first to react to the White House using her music without permission. Also Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo and SZA have called for their songs to be removed out of clips on social media.
