The setup: Mauri takes a practice run through Sweden while the party leaders try to control both him and the car, while the conversation drifts between power, leadership and ordinary everyday life.
– I am still surprised that Säpo agreed to this. Because I’m a lousy driver, says Mauri to TV4.
Each episode is around 20 minutes. The focus is on the person, not just the politics.
– This is not a classic hearing program that only revolves around politics. I am most curious about the person behind the mask, he says.
Mauri tells TV4 that he wants to show a more human side of those in power and hopes that the viewers will get closer to the party leaders: “Maybe it can bring us closer to each other.”
