Actually, Simone Biles, 29, prefers not to talk about her private life.
But this was among the scariest things that had ever happened to her.
“Almost dying wasn’t on my bingo card earlier this week”she signs Instagram.
In the photo Biles shared, she has several hospital bandages around her right arm.
The elite gymnast does not go into what has happened. She asks her followers to come back with the information when the time feels right.
But she told me about her feelings.
“This was one of, if not the most terrifying experience of my life. Especially since Jonathan (NFL player Owens who is also Biles’ husband) was in Indy for training”she writes.
Bile’s support at the hospital
This week she has been bedridden and received both visits and flowers at the hospital. In a later publication, she shared a story from the bed at home, where her two dogs lie, as well as a clipped image of a very high resting heart rate.
“I will be here”writes Biles.
29-year-old Biles is one of the gymnastics world’s top performers ever. Her impressive track record includes 30 WC medals and eleven Olympic medals.
