An agreement between the US and Iran appears to be approaching according to both sides.
But Trump demands several changes to the peace agreement that is currently on the table, according to information provided to Axios.

USA‘s president Donald Trump requires several changes to the agreement that the envoy reached during Friday’s negotiations with Iranaccording to information to Axios.
Among other things, it will concern Iran’s nuclear material and clauses regarding the country’s nuclear power program, according to the newspaper. The New York Times also reports on the president’s stricter conditions.
According to Axios, the current proposal contains only a commitment by Iran not to pursue nuclear weapons, but no specific concessions beyond that.
60-day window
There are also statements about a 60-day window to negotiate how Iran’s enriched uranium should be handled and how further enrichment should be limited – which Trump is said to want to change.

Another source says the president has views on the wording surrounding the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, which has been effectively closed since the war broke out.
Earlier this week it was reported that an agreement between the countries was in place – and that what was missing was Trump’s approval.
“Does not use e-mail”
A senior official tells Axios that a deal will be struck.
– How imminent it is, we’ll see. We are willing to wait for the president to get what he asks for. It may take a week. It may be shorter. It could be longer, the person told Axios.
A response from Iran regarding the new demands is expected within three days.
– They are literally in caves and they don’t use e-mail.
Iran’s state media have also reported that a deal is close but not in place. They have also claimed that Iran will receive billions worth of frozen funds – which the White House denies, according to Axios.
