While Israeli forces are advancing in southern Lebanon and trying to control by fire what they call the “yellow line,” Hezbollah is adopting a reactionary fighting method based on leaving the ground in exchange for inflicting losses on enemy forces, says military expert Colonel Nidal Abu Zeid.
In previous confrontations, the party relied on the front edge, but today it relies on combat nodes based on making room for the enemy forces to advance, in preparation for hunting them down.

This strategy can be seen in the heavy losses incurred by the occupation over the past weeks in vehicles and soldiers, according to what Abu Zeid said in the military analysis section.
The party also continues – according to the spokesman – to exhaust Israel by targeting the areas of Yiftah to put pressure on the residents of the north, and Meron, which is considered the eye of Israeli intelligence, to blind the air force.
As for the occupation forces, they are trying to strengthen the cordon imposed on Bint Jbeil since the announcement of the ceasefire, and to strengthen their presence in Al-Adissa, which Abu Zeid says “represents a soft area” for Israel.
At the same time, Israel’s targeting of the areas of Ali Al-Taher and Jabal Al-Butm “reflects the activation of the Hezbollah missile and drone monitoring system, and the targeting of their launching pads,” in order to establish a front line of confrontation on the borders of what it calls the Yellow Line, according to the military expert, who believes that Israel “does not need to be present on the ground inside this line, because it can control it with fire.”

Field development
The last few hours witnessed specific operations by Hezbollah in the Taybeh and Western Galilee regions near the “yellow line,” while paralysis returned to the areas of Tarshiha, Zarait, and Shtoula, due to the party’s attacks.
Israel banned an annual celebration of ultra-Orthodox Jews in Mount Jarmaq, and re-suspension of studies in areas near the Lebanese border.
Israeli Channel 12 quoted sources as saying that an Israeli helicopter was hit yesterday, Sunday, by Hezbollah fire during an attempt to rescue soldiers in southern Lebanon. She said that the party uses drones guided through fiberglass, which raises concerns among the Israeli army.

These modern drones help to strike the occupation army in its most important nerve, which is manpower, depending on the high areas that enable it to monitor the forces and vehicles, which enabled it to target the plane during the process of evacuating the wounded, according to Colonel Nidal Abu Zeid.
Meanwhile, Israeli Radio reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – wanted by the International Criminal Court – held telephone consultations with the Minister of Defense, the Chief of Staff, and a number of security leaders, against the backdrop of “violations by Hezbollah,” which the military expert considers an indication of the possibility of taking important field measures.
In turn, Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem said on Monday that Israeli forces will not remain in a single inch of Lebanon, and that the Lebanese will return to their land from which they were expelled.
Qassem stressed that the party “will not give up its weapons” and that it “will continue to resist.” He said that “direct negotiations do not exist for us and we will continue to resist and respond to the aggression.”
