Barcelona won the Women’s Champions League title after defeating French club Lyon 4-0 in the final match held today, Saturday.
Polish Eva Pajor opened the scoring in the 55th minute after an assist from Patricia Giaro.

Polish top scorer Bajor added the second goal herself in the 70th minute.
Salma Baraluelo wrote her name on Barcelona’s third goal in the 90th minute, after a decisive pass from Patricia Guiaro, and then concluded the series of goals herself in the 90th + 3 minute, after a decisive pass from Eva Bajor.
Barcelona won the title for the fourth time in its history, after having previously won the title three times since 2021.
Barcelona is now four more titles away from Lyon, the French club, which has the largest number of titles in the history of the competition with eight times, the last of which was in 2022.
Barcelona also equals the number of titles with Germany’s Eintracht Frankfurt, which won the title four times in 2002, 2006, 2008 and 2015.
Barcelona overcame its loss in last season’s final against Arsenal, to regain the title for the fourth time.
Barcelona had previously lost the final in 2019 and 2022, while Lyon lost in the final for the fourth time in its history, having previously lost in the 2010, 2023 and 2024 final.
Barcelona is the only Spanish team to win the Women’s Champions League, which started in the 2001-2002 season, and the new system has been in effect since the 2009-2010 season, and no Spanish team, other than Barcelona, has qualified for the final before.
