In an interview with the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Spanish national team star Lamine Gamal spoke about a number of prominent names in the world of football, led by Lionel Messi, along with Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar. He also commented on the possibility of Argentine Julián Alvarez moving to Barcelona.

Regarding Lionel Messi’s performance in the World Cup, Jamal said: “It is amazing. Everyone knows who Messi is, but no one expected him to perform at this wonderful level. I am very happy for him. I am also happy for Neymar, even though he is no longer participating, and I am also happy for Cristiano (Ronaldo).”

He added: “These players made the childhoods of everyone who plays football today, and anything good that happens to them makes me happy. If I reach the final, I will of course want to win it.”
What about Alvarez?
Regarding the news linking Atletico Madrid and Argentine national team star Julián Alvarez with a move to Barcelona, he said: “Everyone knows that he is a high-class player, and the type that any team would like to include. I previously said that we welcome him, and if he joins us, everyone will be very happy.”
He continued: “I think he fits Barcelona’s playing style perfectly. I do not know the details of his current position, but I hope the deal will be completed.”
