James Cameron’s action classic with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the lead role is getting a new premiere, according to a press release.

A robot – the Terminator – is sent back in time to kill John Connor, a boy who in the future will become a military leader in the war of humans against the machines. In “T2” plays Arnold Schwarzenegger a robot reprogrammed to be Connor’s protector.

“T2” won four Oscars and remains one of the highest-grossing films of all time. In Sweden, the film opens in cinemas on September 3 as part of a 35th anniversary with a global new release.

James Cameron comments in the press release from Njutafilms:

“I think it’s OK to spoil after 35 years, so SPOILER ALERT: the good guys win against the AI ​​superintelligence! And maybe that’s a message of hope we can all benefit from this summer.”
