Egyptian fans lived an exceptional night in the US state of Texas, celebrating their country’s qualification to the round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup, in scenes that combined spirituality inside the locker room and loud celebrations outside it.

Salah’s loud celebrations
After the historic qualification ticket was decided, the outdoor square of the Egyptian national team’s headquarters was transformed into a large public celebration arena. The national team’s captain, Mohamed Salah, topped the scene after the huge crowd celebrated him and carried him on their necks.
