The music service Tidal is stopping all payments for AI-generated music, according to the technology site Techchrunch.
The decision applies to all music that is entirely AI-generated. Tidal new policy also means the streaming service will remove music that tries to imitate artists and groups.
However, this does not mean that Tidal opposes new technology, assures the company’s vice president Tony Gervino. The purpose is to protect artists from being exploited.
